Driven by Passion: My Journey in Automotive Sales and Beyond
My name is Billy Toolen, and I was born and raised on the East Coast in Connecticut. At 20, I set out for California, where I spent the next decade working in the restaurant and bar industry. That experience taught me a lot about customer service, teamwork, and the fast-paced nature of business, but in 2002, I found my true calling in the automotive industry.
I started my journey in auto sales and worked my way up to become the Director of Internet Sales for a high-volume Volkswagen and Subaru dealership. In that role, I honed my expertise in digital marketing, customer engagement, and high-volume sales strategies. Now, I continue my career in sales and leasing with Honda Motor Company, where I take pride in helping customers find the right vehicle while providing a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Beyond my career, I’m passionate about an active lifestyle. I love golfing, swimming, and riding motorcycles, and I never pass up the opportunity to catch a great concert. Family is the most important part of my life—I’m married and a proud father of two incredible kids, ages 15 and 10. I stay actively involved in their lives, especially through youth sports, where I enjoy coaching and supporting their teams.
Whether in my professional life or personal life, I believe in bringing energy, commitment, and a positive attitude to everything I do.
